This is Poland’s basic fresh, uncooked and non smoked sausage made from selected cuts of tender pork. May be eaten hot or cold. It may be cooked in soup, and added to various other dishes. Fresh Sausage can be fried in a skillet, baked, poached or grilled.

POLISH HOMEMADE BUCKWHEAT AND BARLEY BLOOD SAUSAGE WITH LIVER
Kaszanka is a traditional blood sausage in east and central European cuisine.
Kaszanka may be eaten cold, but traditionally it is either grilled or fried with some onions and then served with potato and sauerkraut.
